A state government body responsible for infrastructure monitoring lacked a unified view of project progress, fund utilization, and ground-level execution across 50+ districts. Data resided in isolated departmental systems, often entered manually with inconsistent formats. Leadership had no way to identify delayed projects, underperforming contractors, or fund diversion in near real-time.
Our Approach
DataLumin deployed a team to conduct field assessments across key departments, mapping data flows from district offices to the state secretariat. We designed a cloud-hosted data integration platform that ingests data from departmental MIS systems, GIS databases, and financial management systems. The architecture was designed for the government's security and data residency requirements.
The Solution
The final platform provides a multi-tier dashboard system: a Chief Secretary-level overview with state-wide KPIs, department-level operational dashboards, and district-level execution trackers. Automated alerts flag projects that fall behind schedule or exceed budget thresholds. The system integrates with the government's existing Bhasini-powered Indic language interface, enabling local officials to access dashboards in their regional language.
